New Spot In Town: Dear Breakfast in Lisbon, Portugal Opens Second Location in Chiado

Having Portuguese roots is one of the most incomparable cultural assets one can ask for - we may be biased! It seems Portugal these days is on everyone’s itinerary and we couldn’t be happier. With the continuous growth of influential people, businesses and real estate flourishing, there is nothing quite comparable to Portuguese food and wine. However, with Lisboa being such a large conglomerate of backgrouds it only makes sense to explore and open up the palettes for different styles of food and drinks! Thanks to visual windows like Instagram, there is no question on ‘where to eat’ with so many options at your disposal. Our bellies couldn’t be happier when we connected to the team at Dear Breakfast and there are plenty of reasons why.

Julien Garrec, the owner of Dear Breakfast, opened the first Dear Breakfast in 2017 in Santos. Two years later, the breakfast and brunch empire grew, first with a Mexican version, the Chérie Paloma, also in Santos, and now with a second Dear Breakfast in Chiado. Chiado is Lisbon's most elegant and trendiest neighborhood is where everyone meets for coffee, shopping, or before dinner and a night out in neighboring Bairro Alto.
