Success is different for everyone, depending on where you are in your life. Whether your concept of success is material, mental, physical or spiritual making a conscious decision to be the co-creator of your life depends solely on you. Success or ‘wealth’ is a “state of consciousness, it is a mind condition to divine supply, forever flowing,” states Dr. Joseph Murphy (listen to his video).

Take care of you body. It’s the only place you have to live.

Multi-tasking is an illusion

Let it go. When “you think you are multi-tasking, but in reality, you are actually wasting time switching from one task to another,” Bosco Tjan. Most successful people are aware of this. Whether it is a business idea or a workout, being fully present and committed to one task is indispensable.

A healthy lifestyle is key

This may seem like a basic step, but a required step for any successful lifestyle. Everything starts with a balanced lifestyle; quality of sleep, a healthy meal plan, and physical activity help achieve a successful day. Each one of these activities helps create an internal harmony in your mind and body to succeed in your everyday endeavors.

time can be in your favor

You should learn, educate and get advice on how to take control over your focus, attention and make the most out of your 24 hours within a day. “The single most powerful asset we all have is our mind. If it is trained well, it can create enormous wealth in what seems to be an instant,” says Robert T. Kiyosaki author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. We can’t forget, “It’s not what you say out of your mouth that determines your life, it’s what you whisper to yourself that has the most power!”

We say this all the time and live by it - you only live once, make it count! You have to remember, however hurtful this may be - you will die. For the current and future you, you should never stop creating your legacy and doing things that enrich your life and others. Ditch meaningless time wasters and focus on your most important goals.

Develop a growth mind set

Whether it was from your parents, peers, environment or colleagues a fixed mindset can be lethal. There are people that sadly make a clear attempt to hold you down or have no idea they are intentionally doing it, but both ways are destructive for your success. A fixed mindset has an innate ability to let you think your talents or intelligence are pre-determined traits that cannot be changed, but it is a false sense of fear.

Invest in yourself, and in the amount of time needed on a daily basis to develop a growth mindset, acquire knowledge and change your perception so that it can benefit your life! Who are you today is not who you have to be tomorrow; if your parents were drug addicts, you do not have to be. "The future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in creative ways," Robert Greene, Mastery.

Nix the negative folks

Look around you and take inventory, the people you spend most of your time with add up to who you become. If what is around you are negative or draining people or those who blame others for the situation they are in - you need to let that go. Surround yourself, talk to and be apart of a community or group who want to grow personally and professionally, who are increasing their standard of living and build a better network. Albert Einstein said “Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.” You might want to read that again! Negativity exists and has its place - to remember the positive. You can set a higher standard for yourself and those around you. We've dropped some negative and needy people in our life and it changes the game. So, take a look around and see if your environment needs some weeding and upgrading.
